The pre-acquisition due diligence of a pan-European property portfolio, comprising in excess of 40 retail and residential assets. The assets varied in size but were generally circa 250,00 ft2 of retail development and approximately 150 to 200 residential units. The assets were in a variety of stages within the development process, simple land bank holdings through partially completed assets and including completed, fully let schemes. The role entailed reviewing all information provided by the developer for all schemes other than those fully let and occupied. Selected site visits were made to a number of schemes to review and progress, quality of product, contractual relationships and the alike. Detailed reports on all assets were required, critiquing the information provided, highlighting any apparent shortcomings and financial risks or exposures.
